To ensure competency and professional standards, the Mississippi Association of Addiction Professionals (MAAP) Certification Board has developed a voluntary credentialing system specifically for treatment and criminal justice professionals providing substance abuse services to offenders.
Prerequisite for CCJP Certification
To apply for the CCJP credential, individuals must hold one of the following certifications:

✔ CADC-I (Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor - Level I)
✔ CADC-II (Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor - Level II)
